I have found the above monitor (Asus VS247NR) for 131 euros.

The monitor have 50000000:1 CR, 5ms, 24', 1xDVI, 1xVGA.

Should I get this monitor for the price? There are better options for the same or a bit above price but they are not in stock in any shop in Greece and I have to wait for them. I'm trying to build my workstation/gaming desktop and when stores say they will order it usually takes from 3 to undefined ammount of days.

My question: Is this monitor worth the money in order to avoid the wait vs the contest against a bit more priced monitors like the Asus VS247HR or Asus VS248H?

PS: I also found Viewsonic VX2452mh 23.6" Monitor for 172 euros. It's almost the same as the one above except that it's 2ms rather than 5ms.

If you play a lot of FPS games and are pretty serious about them I would get one with a 2ms response time. I found this monitor: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Simple-Monitor-S24D300H-Glossy/dp/B00M2UIWKQ/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1417230259&sr=1-5&keywords=monitor+24 and it has an HDMI, 1080p and a 2ms response time. I'm not sure how much it costs in your country, but it's on sale here. I just searched "monitor 24" and I found one that was about $120- $140. That's the price range I would go for, because you can find some good monitors for that price.
