ASUS VX239H monitor failure: white vertical line.

Hello,

My friend has an Asus VX239 monitor, and last week the female power connector (soldered to the main board or motherboard) has broken, and then the contact has sizzled.

Now the sound is good, but the screen is black with a white vertical line (0.39 "wide) on the right.

I have changed the main board, but the problem continues.

Any ideas?

I think that the display has been broken in the process. I had the same problem after dropping my water bottle on my monitor.
