Hello, I've seen tons of reviews of both monitors, read here and there; but actually nobody seems to give a damn about the audio quality of the built in speakers. Both monitors are almost the same, but the differences are: price, body color, audio, MHL and VividPixel.

To be honest, I don't care about MHL and don't use Photoshop that much so VividPixel might be useless for me; so the MX239H is cheaper 1-0, the VX239h is black 1-1, And the audio? The MX239H has 2 3W speakers "which were co-developed by the ASUS Golden Ear team and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®." And the VX239H has 2 1.5W speakers and they don't create a hype on its audio quality.

I don't expect a Bose companion 3 inside those monitors, nor something the entire block can hear. I just want some decent speakers that sound nice, and keep me from buying desktop speakers.

According to this. Which monitor should I buy?

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hi,
I'm having the same doubt. Even so I've heard that the vx239h is quite unimpressive (in terms of audio quality), but nothing about the other one.
At the end did you decide on any of them?

No, but I read that the audio quality of the MX239H is "good for a monitor" for me it's like saying "is crappy, but we thought it was going to stink more".

The only factual difference taking away all the ads is that the MX is two times louder. But all the hustle around the MX and the brutal silence about the VX makes you think twice
