Asus VX239H vs Asus VC239H

can't find any info on the actual difference between them. atm locked down to these two monitors since they are readily available in local store

The monitor are pretty similar. The VX239H uses AH-ips which is better than the ips panel found in VC239H. VC239H does have smaller bezels as well.

The VC has VESA mount, VX does not.

Inputs:
VC - HDMI, DVI, D-Sub
VX - HDMI/MHLx2, D-Sub

The panels are going to be virtually identical, so your choice should be based on inputs and whether you plan to VESA mount the monitor at some point.
