Asus VX239H vs Samsung S24E390H Help Needed

Please help me select the best monitor among the two mentioned below.

Personally out of the two - the Asus. Those VX series are an excellent choice for their price. Do you game on your PC?

Yes i do a little bit of gaming like dota 2 and cs:go bot i am not a hardcore gamer.
i am manly concerned about the picture quality and color reproduction for multimedia purposes. which one of the two monitor would satisfy my needs better ?

TN panels have a generally much faster response time - great for gamers. But if you are all about the vivid colour repetition then go with IPS. But with IPS you sacrifice response time for better colours. The Asus you posted is an IPS panel with a response time at 5ms. Which is still great by any standard. Samsung monitors are PLS which is just their own version of IPS and are very similar. Either of them would be a good choice, which do you like the look of better? which is cheaper? which manufacturer supplies a longer warranty? these are questions to ask yourself. ASUS have a good history of producing great monitors and I have had good dealings with them in the past. If it was me picking i'd have the VX. But have a look for reviews online, they can normally flag up possible problems or bonuses that you hadn't thought of.
