asus vx24a and gtx 950

I just bought a asus vx24a monitor, 24inch 2k monitor.....I am running a gtx 950 video adapter with this monitor.....I am just wondering about the video card, not having enough power to power this monitor...when I look at 2k wallpaper, it seems like that video card had troube rendering the page when I scroll fast....I believe I will need to upgrade my video card....any opinons appreciated?

I have some ideas:
Make sure the screen is connected to GPU using HDMI or DisplayPort connectors (VGA is not enough). Go to display settings and set screen refresh rate to 60Hz (or more).

its at 60hz, and hdmi..i believe the 950 is too small to run a 2k 24 inch montior properly

Nah, i have a GTX 760 which has very similar performance to GTX 950. I can run 4K@60Hz no problem. It must be a software problem, not hardware.
