Asus wont reboot

I formatted my asus with a corrupt cd of windows 7 and it just restarts in a loop non-stop as long as the power is on...

I want to reformat it with a different cd but like i said it restarts non-stop so i dont get to the desktop..to be able to reformat the regular way...

i tried with the boot options ....it says reboot and select proper device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key...
i put in the cd...and press any key...but nothing happens...it just keeps repeating the same sentence by pressing any key....

i need to format the laptop and not recover it to able to access the desktop and partitions to get my files and things on the partitions separate from the system partition ...

Which ASUS model? What version of Windows 7 and OEM or retail?

Have you tried downloading a "good" Windows 7 image from Digital River HERE and making a USB installer using THIS TOOL and the related directions?

Are you pretty sure that you do not have a virus?

Its an asus b43j .....no its a bad copy of windows...and im sure i have viruses as well...
but no i havent tried your suggestion...i check it out...

Then your next step is to download the free Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 from HERE, burn to a CD, boot from it and run a full scan. Then you can start fixing the damage. It is very reliable to remove all viruses and malware, you will have damaged Windows files but you may be able to salvage most of your documents.

I would run Kaspersky from a CD or USB before doing anything else, the first priority is wiping out all viruses and malware.

im sorry for the hastle....but i got this msg after copying windows to the usb ...
" Files copied successfully. However, we were unable to run bootsect to make the usb device bootable."

i read to run bootsect...but nothing happened ...and i read to do this....

"When your Windows 7 ISO file is copied onto your chosen media, install Windows 7 by moving to the root folder of your DVD or USB flash drive, and then double-click Setup.exe. "

but i didnt understand how to remove the root folder....
