Discussion Asus X-Hero Z-370 Wifi + 9900 ks results ( first test )

Asus Z-370 X-Hero Wifi + 9900 ks 5 ghz @ 1.28v ,4.7 ghz cache , 4000 mhz ddr4 cl-17 who says the z-370 asus x hero is not good enough (first test )will go lower in voltage and higher in mhz later ( 7 hrs real bench ) whea free and no throttling

vary first test so i will try 1.24 v next

i know real bench needs about 0.020 - 0.030 v less to pass then prime 95 26.6 non avx small ffts

so far so good for a z-370 x hero ?

1.28 v passed prime 95 small ffts n on avx

1.25v passed prime 95 small ffts non avx and asus real bench

• 5 ghz all core

• @ 1.25 v manual vcore
• load line level 6
• 0 avx ofset
• 4.7 ghz cache
• 16 gb ddr4 4000 mzh cl-17 tuned

i am testing 1.26 v 5 ghz all core 4.7 cache
1 hr in to prime 95 small ffts no whea errors so far

Does it fail or downclock if you use the AVX instruction set in Prime95? Something else you may want to consider using is RealBench. Try running a 15min stress test to start. It produces a more real-world high end load on the system and does use AVX.
Although I like using Prime95 w/AVX, the stress that it puts on a CPU is unlike anything you'll find in real-world usage.

I ran prime 95 "small ffts"
@ 5 ghz all core
@1.25 v bios
4.7 ghz cache
Load line level 6 (7 is max 6 no drop )

Woke up after 8 hrs no whea errors or no issues and no throttling in hardware monitor 64

I am kinda happy right now and temps were like 81c max .

I saved pictures ofall the stress test and temps for proof

Trying 1.24v. Ow

I passed 8 hrs of asus real bench 2.56stress test yesterday @1.26v and ram ram @ 4000 mhz cl-17

No.issues going for 1.24v tests now

i passed 8 hrs of asus real bench with

• 5 ghz all core
• 4.7 ghz cache
• @ 1.25 v manual vcore
• load line level 6
• 0 avx ofset

i passed prime 95 small ffts non avx with

• 5 ghz all core
• 4.7 ghz cache
• @ 1.25 v manual vcore
• load line level 6

passed prime 95 "small ffts" for 8 hrs last night while i slept 8 hrs pass whea free

here is some pictures no throttling no issues what so ever vrms were not even hot

i tried to pass prime 95 small ffts @ 1.24 v = whea error 1.25 v passes no issues

if i went to a z-390 apex would i get lower voltage like 1.21- 1.23 v ?

is this 9900 ks @ 1.25 v to pass prime 95 small ffts non avx should i keep this cpu ?
is this cpu quality worth keeping @ 1.25 v for 5 ghz on thsi z370 ?

my current delided and relided 8700k with rockit cools copper ihs

8700k 5.1 ghz needs

should i keep my 8700k delided @ 5 ghz 1.27v or keep the 9900ks with 5 ghz @ 1.25 v

my 8700k has liquid metal and the nice after maket copper ihs

hmmmmmmm i could sell the 8700k for 450 $ + cad
