So I have had my Asus touchscreen notebook for about 3 years with no problems. I don't know what I did to cause this, but a few days ago when it reached low battery it suddenly turned off, as if the power was cut to the whole computer in one millisecond. When I opened it back up and pressed the power button, it said "preparing automatic repair" and the computer took a long time to get to the desktop. The next day the same problem happened, only when I pressed the power button, it wouldn't turn on unless it was plugged in. Today, my laptop will suddenly turn off when the charger is removed. It then has to be plugged in in order to turn it on, and when it was on it took a long time to get to the desktop. When it is plugged in, the battery sign won't change from "10% available (plugged in, charging)". I had left it charging the night before and it should have been at 100% but now it stays at 10%.
