HI all, I have the same problem as Mr. RobertG81 plus all my led indicators are off except charging and capslock leds. But, strangely if i power the laptop on, the ON and HDD Activity turns on but just a second then off again.
It all happened after I replaced the defected speakers.Since then, wifi option in BIOS disappeared. I already tried to update BIOS to version 506 but the problem still exists. Also, the fn+F2 key isnt working too.
P.S.
Im connecting to internet through my phone's modem, but I need to disable then enable it in network and sharing centre before Windows 7 detect its modem because Windows will put it in unplugged mode automatically.
All usbs work fine, also the audio jack.
I cant uplug the daughterboard's ribbon because the screws near usb and power button got loosed.
And I reseated the wifi card few times in shutdown mode.
