Hello,
i have a asus x50sl and dont recognise any dvd drive, what can i doo to install the operating sistem , i try with usb and all the bios setup to boot are ok , and nothing still.
Please help me

You may need to go to the bios and tell it to boot from other devices than the HDD.

I have already done that , but it still not deteting the optical drive. detects the usb but i cant load any o.s. from it, get stuked in the beginning.

And it's for sure a bootable USB / DVD? Microsoft has a free tool to prepare a bootable stick for the installation.

yes, i am used to do o.s. installations, the problem is why doesnt recognise the optical drive
