I've had a failing hard drive on it that kept corrupting Windows so I kept re-installing the OS until one day it stopped booting the hard drive and instead began going straight to the BIOS. I figured the hard drive is pretty much toast and so I got myself a SSD. Replaced it, powered on the laptop and to my surprise it still boots straight to the BIOS while both the SSD and DVD drive are visible there. Problem is, they are not inside the boot options list. Nothing is there, it is just blank. I've tried restoring defaults but it didn't help.
This video I made sums it up:

I hope I won't have to resort to updating the BIOS or something as I'm pretty scared to mess with that.
