That could be an indication that your HDD has gone bad already. Inside BIOS see if your HDD is listed and if it is try running a SMART TEST. Once the test is done and it passed remove the HDD first and boot the laptop again without it. If it gets pass the BIOS screen that means it's the HDD but if it still gets stuck it could be the RAM. You have to test each one if you have 2 of them. Lastly is to reset the BIOS setting by removing the CMOS battery for couple of seconds then put it back in again.
