My laptop keep showing on BIOS every time i turn the laptop on, i have no idea what just happened.. and sometime my touchpad/mouse can move the cursor but cannot click.. can someone solve my problem.. i am newbie :(

Hi,

That could be an indication that your HDD has gone bad already. Inside BIOS see if your HDD is listed and if it is try running a SMART TEST. Once the test is done and it passed remove the HDD first and boot the laptop again without it. If it gets pass the BIOS screen that means it's the HDD but if it still gets stuck it could be the RAM. You have to test each one if you have 2 of them. Lastly is to reset the BIOS setting by removing the CMOS battery for couple of seconds then put it back in again.

Thank you dude, i will try it after this, what do you think about the cursor issue? is it related with the BIOS problem too?

Same problem with my X552LD using latest linux Mint 64bit.
I'm not sure that it's an harddisk related problem.
Now I'm testing linux Korora 64bit 21 Darla.
It seems working good now but I don't want to say it loud. ;-)
