[SOLVED] Asus x570-e gaming with aorus gen4 nvme

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to run the copper heatsink for the aorus gen4 on the x570-e?

It looks like that shroud would be partially in the way so could I run the board without putting the shroud back on? Or would I need to remove the copper heatsink and just use the boards heatsinks instead. Would that give worse cooling performance to the m.2?

That heat sink looks better than one mounted on the MB.

Socket for M.2 is on the right of the place for it and before (left) of that angled part of heat sink.
MB heat sink is same one as on my MB. Lots of space there.
