What do you think about this motherboard? It's quite cheapy for a x570 and the VRM are enogh for a 3600 and some RAM OC , or am I wrong? Any experience?
I have installed a Ryzen 5 3600x on a $65 B450 motherboard and the VRMs temps remained the same as previous gen CPUs. So a x570 should be just fine.
I do prefer the MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS and MSI X570-A PRO
Do not even consider any MSi X570 MPG motherboards. They all have very poorly implemented VRM designs (4+2 or 5+2) which runs super hot with any AMD 105-watt CPU. Online reviews show that the boards run 90-120 degrees which is a lot hotter than some other brands.
My MSi X570 MPG Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi with a 3900X VRMs would hit 90+ degrees and the CPU would throttle down its speed until the VRMs cooled down. I ended up buying an ASUS X570 Crosshair VIII Hero with a 14+2 power stage VRM design and its temps hovers around 40-50 degrees under load.
The ASUS X570-P Prime was also noted for its excellent VRM implementation...
