[SOLVED] Asus X751L laptop refuses to boot corectly

I have a 2016 asus laptop with windows 10. It refuses to boot up correctly and either boots straight into bios or comes up with an error code of media test failure, check cable, reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key. I've tried switching boot options, and I've gone in and put of legacy mode, nothing seems to work. I even have a windows 10 recovery usb that it boots into, however it's astonishingly slow and I get another error code once it begings the installation. I'm really struggling with this asus, any help would be wonderful.
