So I'm soon about to do the USB flashback BIOS to update my motherboard for the I7-6800k. Found out that It needed the update after several hours of frustration.
Anything to be careful about or any tips how to do it?
Do I have to take out the cpu and liquid cooler? I don't have any thermal paste to re-attach the liquid cooler to the cpu, as it came with pre applied (Corsair H110)
Also, does USB 3.0 go to the USB 2.0 flashback port? At least what the manual says is the USB 2.0 below the BIOS flashback button, but the rear I/O backshield right at the bottom of it, it says "USB BIOS Flashback" in green, and not right next to it but the second USB port is outlayerd in green. Whats this about?
