Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS x99 Deluxe II
CPU: Intel i7 6900k
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 850W
Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62
RAM: 2 kits of Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Case: NZXT s340

Problem:
On first attempt to post, everything turns on, but hangs on DRAM check/ASUS Q-Code runs through usual checks and hangs on 55.
So, looking it up, I see that is "Memory not installed."
Steps I've already taken that didn't work:
Questions:
I know the x99 platform is picky about memory, did it just so happen that the 3 sets of RAM I tried aren't compatible?
Bad luck and maybe I got 2 faulty motherboards in a row?
When I get the new processor, and if it doesn't change anything and still gives me a Q-Code 55 (which at this point, I won't be surprised given how this build is going), I have no idea what to do next? What even left is there? Could the PSU cause this?
At this point I'm quite confused as to what's going on. At the end of my rope as far as knowledge and expertise.
Any help would be appreciated- Is there something I'm missing? Any theories?

■ Bought from Amazon
■ Assembled on anti-static mat/workspace
■ Everything went well, no problems, drops, or scratches or anything.
Problem:
On first attempt to post, everything turns on, but hangs on DRAM check/ASUS Q-Code runs through usual checks and hangs on 55.
So, looking it up, I see that is "Memory not installed."
Steps I've already taken that didn't work:
■ Made sure the RAM is pushed all the way in
■ Made sure the RAM is in the correct slots according to the motherboard manual
■ Unplugged any peripherals/USB headers except for the CPU cooler/pump
■ Made sure to not over-tighten the CPU cooler to avoid warping the board
■ Looked for scratches or faulty leads or anything shorting the board, nothing there
■ Verified that I used the right mounting screw standoffs for the Kraken
■ Updated the BIOS to the latest version, flashed using the EZ Flash/USB Bios Flashback method, update installed correctly, but made no difference, still stuck on 55 at boot.
■ Tried the MEM-OK! button
■ Tried the XMP switch on the motherboard
■ Reset the CMOS using the reset button on the motherboard
■ Took the battery out and manually reset the CMOS
■ Tested one stick at a time
■ Resituated the processor and checked for bent pins- no damage or anything strange that I can see.
■ Picked up 2 different sets of RAM, one of which was matching MHz for my processor (2400 Mhz) and the other that was on the Asus x99 Deluxe II QVL- both of these did not work.
■ RMA'd the motherboard, got a second one. No luck. Went through all the above steps as well, same result. Always a Q-Code of 55.
■ At this point, I am breadboarding my PC with nothing but Processor, Heatsink/Cooler, Mobo, RAM, and PSU, have gone through 2 motherboards, 3 sets of RAM, and now I am in the process of getting a new i7-6900k processor RMA'd to me next week.
