Asus X99 Deluxe II + Intel 6850K + 32GB Corsair DDR4 (4x8GB) 3333MHz kit

Hi! I've just upgraded to an X99 system and encountered this problem. When I enabled the XMP profile at the AI Tweaker, it won't post, the monitor is blank and a 'bd' error code appears on the motherboard. When i reset the PC, it will say 'Overclocking Failed' and i'll need to enter BIOS, load the optimized defaults and disable the XMP profile to make it boot into Windows.

I'm on the latest BIOS (1003) and I've made sure that the XMP physical switch is in the ON position. I've also tried Asus' 5 way optimization, though it somehow enabled the XMP profile, the memory frequency is still 2666MHz.

I'm just frustrated that my 3333Mhz RAM is only running at 2133MHz. Any suggestions to reach its rated speed? Thanks in advance.

Hi Tradesman1! I've overclocked the CPU to 4.4GHz @ 1.35v, XMP disabled. When I initially applied the XMP profile, the strap and BCLK was converted to 125. I've tried different multiplier but it simply won't post. It just hanged and when I reset, it will say 'Overclocking Failed'. When I let Asus' 5-way optimization overclock the system. it enabled the XMP profile but set the strap to 'Auto', the BCLK to 100, the multiplier to 43 but the DRAM Frequency was only set at DDR-26667MHz. Changing it to a higher frequency, it will not post.

The XMP profile for the RAM is set at 1.35v. Do I need to add voltage to it? Thanks!
