Hello. I have a new build with the x99 Deluxe II. I've installed a Samsung 960 1tb m.2 into the socket on the board and have been using it as my boot drive. I also have an 850 ssd I use for storage, a dvd/cd drive and an external raid5 drive.
I decided to try another m.2 and put it in the included (with the mobo) hyper m.2 x 4 pcie card. I bought the same m.2 card (Samsung 960 1tb) and installed it.
It's not showing up in explorer. In BIOS, it's not on the boot list (but when I open the boot menu, I see - from top to bottom - DVD, samsung m.2, samsung ssd, samsung m.2, raid drive - so some part of the system recognizes it).
I enabled hyper m.2 in the advanced PCH storage section of BIOS, but it's still not showing in either the boot list or explorer.
I have it on PCIEx16_4, which is not shared with any other slot. All drivers and BIOS are up to date.
Any idea how to get it working?
In case it matters, the rest of the build is: i7-6850k, 64gb ram, GTX 1080 TI, Win 10 x64
