I have a very serious problem with my MB ASUS X99 DELUXE II.

I researched a lot about this motherboard, and bought my new i7 6950X. According to the official website of ASUS GLOBAL in specifications says SUPPORTS 14nm CPU.

In the product manual says SUPPORTS 22nm CPU. An absurd that official information ASUS divergent between the specifications and the product manual.

Let's go to my problem, I set all my new pc, all new parts.

At the time of testing, the MB not the image and no beep. I'm no access to BIOS, already tested in every way. Not recognize or type of USB 3.0 / 2.0, nothing. Not recognize and do not light any light of my mouse and keyboard. What do I do now. ? I'm no idea and I'm not finding videos on youtube about this my business. Thanks for advancement and hope to resolve this problem of mine. I spent a lot of money and so far I could not access my motherboard BIOS.

Already tested all SLI modes, jumpers and clear cmos and did not work.

BTW, I want to run my SLI 1080 (x16 / x16) and my Intel 750 series SSD NVMe PCIe x4 (this was the reason I purchased the X99 DELUXE 2) which allows 40-lanes x16 / x16 / x8.

The RAMPAGE manual is confusing in relation to this.

What is the best card ASUS, this X99 DELUXE 2 or X99 RAMPAGE 10 EDITION? I can run this my SLI x16 / x16 and PCIe x4 my SSD with RAMPAGE?

Please Help me. Thanks!

Look at the barcode label on the motherboard. The last 4 digits are the BIOS level. If it's lower then the current one which is 0801 as of today, you'll need to update it. Download the 0801 version of the BIOS from the ASUS X99 Deluxe II Support site. Check for BIOS under Drivers and Tools. Once you have that downloaded, follow the section in your manual "BIOS Update Utility" or "USB BIOS Flashback".

One of the things I love about ASUS mb's is that if you have a brand new processor that your mb doesn't support out of the box because it's got an older BIOS, you can update your BIOS using the flashback method and you don't need to have a CPU, RAM, graphics card or even a hard drive installed. Unlike other motherboards, there's no need to get an interim CPU installed just to update the BIOS so you can use your new CPU.

Unzip the .CAP file, put it on a USB 2.0 flash drive that's formatted with FAT32. Locate the port indicated in your manual to be used for the BIOS flashback process, and insert it flash drive into it.

As the manual says "Press the BIOS Flashback button for three seconds until the Flashback LED begins to blink, indicating that the BIOS Flashback function is enabled, then release."

Wait until the LED goes out, indicating that the BIOS updating process is completed. See your X99 Deluxe II manual for what to do if the LED flashes for five seconds and then turns on.
