Hi,

The system works fine if I use up to three graphic cards; no matter how I mix them (2x r9 nano + 1x hd 7990 or 2x r9 nano + 1x rx480)
The problem is when I install 4 or more graphic cards. The system doesn't post and get stuck with Qcode 70 or 96
No matter what I do, which PCIe I use, if I move the SDD from the m.2 slot to a PCIe slot, if I reset the Bios or else.
Is this motherboard able to host more than 3 graphic cards? If so, anyone have any idea how do I solve this?
I am using Windows 8.1 Professional version
Or drivers and BIOS are updated to the latest version.
Ultimately I would like to have GPU's installed on every single PCIe slot

Here the system specs:

Motherboard Revision : 1.02
Motherboard BIOS Revision : 0801
VGA Card Driver : Crimson Edition 16.7.3
CPU Type : XEON E5 2670 V3
Memory : CORSAIR 2 x CMK16GX4M4B3000C15R 32g total
HDD : Samsung SM951 M2 NVMe MZVPV256HDG 256GB
PSU: Corsair AX1200i (enough to have 3 R9 Nano + 1 RX 480)

Any help would be appreciated :)

Yep, I understand that but I don't use the switch/need them in crossfire or SLI I just want 4 or 5 independent graphic cards

Update: I managed once somehow, but is very temperamental, it works and then if I change configuration again it doesn't. GPU connected via x16 to 16 ribbon doesn't get recognized.. I mean a mess overall! I am positive it is a mobo BIOS issue. It get stuck (or get extremely slooooow) when it has to assign PCI resources. Not sure why. Been battling for almost two days now..
The thing is, if it worked once, it has to work again. Every time I reconfigure the GPU's I have to reset the BIOS, else it get stuck (if more than 3 GPU that is)

Anybody have tried and tested something similar and got results?
