I have a PC with an ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard. I powered it down last night and this morning when I went to power it up, I get no video output and the motherboard is hanging on a Q-code of A2, which if I am correct means it is looking for a HDD to hand off to after the POST. I have tried reseating components, reseting CMOS, unplugging all other connections to PC other than HDMI and Power and still cant get any video or past the A2 code on MB. My system specs are below:

INTEL Q2 2015 GAME BUNDLE
INTEL I7-5820K 3.3 GHZ 15M LGA2011 RETAIL
OCZ ARC 100 SERIES 240GB 2.5" SATA-III SSD
2TB SATA III 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB CACHE 3.5" HD
CORSAIR VENGEANCE 8GB DDR4 2400 MHZ QUAD CHANNEL
CYBERPOWER 240 WATER COOLER KIT
CASE FAN 120 MM
ASUS X99 DELUXE 3WAY CROSSFIREX 3WAY SLI USB 3.0 LGA
CORSAIR CS850M 80PLUS 850W CSM SERIES GOLD FULLY MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a solution or not but I just get tinkering with it for a few days after it happened. It just started booting normally again. I didn't do anything in particular to get it going. During my research on the issue, I found multiple people that had the same issue as me. For many it was linked to having usb plugged in. From the research I have done and reviews I read on this board on newegg, it seems it has a lot of problems for a deluxe board. Currently the only fix I know of is to get another board. I got an MSI board and have not had issues since then.

Thanks for the reply man, having hit this problem on a replacement motherboard, it seems to be related to which Rear USB ports are in use oddly enough. Very strange indeed! So for anyone in future hitting a similar issue, try disconnecting everything other than keyboard + mouse from your rear USB connections, and mess around with which USB ports they are plugged in to.
