Asus X99 Deluxe stuck on post code 99

Hello, I am fairly new to computer building as this is my first build but I've done small stuff for friends in the past. A few days ago i built my system (specs below) outside of the case as reccomened as well as waiting for my case that I picked up yesterday from one of Newegg's Warehouses. Everything was working great, until i transfered it into this case (NZXT Phantom 820). I accidently left some of the plastic foil covering on the inside of the plastic window on. I belive I heard something like a shock when i booted it the first two times, then it ceased... Could I have fried my mobo from static built up on that? (At this point I've unplugged all except one ssd)

Corsair vengence 3200MHz C15 ddr4 Ram
Gigabyte g1 GTX 980 TI
Corsair AX1200 Power supply
2x Samsung 240 GB ssd
2x Seagate 3TB 72000RPM HD's
Corsair h100i GTX liquid cooling for my cpu
