What are the key differences?

I do : Music Production, Gaming and Video & Image Editing.

On another forum someone suggested I should build a X99 Build because he thought I would benefit from Haswell-E.

They are almost identical.

The Rampage V has a maximum RAM overclock of 3300MHz (+100MHz from the Deluxe)

The Deluxe has 5 x PCIe 3.0 slots (+1 from the Rampage V)

The Rampage V has 6 Chassis (Case) fans (+2 from the Deluxe)

The Deluxe is 12.0"x 9.6" (Rampage V is 12.0" x 10.7")

The Deluxe has many more features compared to the Rampage (find under the "Specifications" tab, next to the "Features" heading on Newegg)
