Hello,

So here is my configuration:
MB: Asus X99 Sabertooth
CPU: Intel i7 5820k (OC to 4.4 GHz on 1.24V running for month)
GPU: Gigabyte 980ti G1
PSU: Seasonic SS 860XP (860W Platinum)
RAM: 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix 2400 MHz (no XMP running)
Cooler: Corsair H110 GTX
Case: Define R5

My PC just turned off itself like somebody unplugged it from the wall except MB's power LED remains lit like everything in ok. When I press case power button nothing happened. When I turn PSU switch off and on again and then press case power button, GPU lights and fans, cooler light blinks and that's all. No POST beeps, no MB's error light nothing. Then When I press case power button nothing happened again. I have to switch PSU off/on in order to 'blink'.

This MB was few months ago RMA-ed and they replace something and send it back (serial no. is the same so they just replace something I guess) - issue was different.

Is this MB faulty again??😱

Thank you.

misosec,
your problem is little common specially to OC systems.
anyway Just follow this steps:

You said you have 2x8GB Ram... remove both of them and place just one dim and try run pc, then change the existing dim (only one dim)......
Change the Ram slots then try to run PC
If ur problem still not solve...

Remove the Graphics card, and install it again with tight screw....... if nothing happen
put your display connection to the MoBo's built-in display connector then try to run PC
If you problem still exist....

Remove your PSU and try to connect another pc... if not run so got the problem..... or if run that pc

Then finally remove your CPU and clean your CPU socket (of MoBo) with bloater or something similar very carefully........ Reinstall your CPU, try to Run PC

if you also try reset your bios form directly push the button or from flashdrive by bios file (see you MoBo's manual)
If still unable to solve your problem

See a good PC hardware expert or vendor......

Hello,
I did try the basic troubleshooting but without success. MB is still in warranty so I send it for RMA. I am curious what went south this time. The first time it was PWM controller so I have a feeling that this MB is kind of faulty over all.

Thanks anyway.

that's a good try.....
