So yesterday i finally managed to build and get my pc working, however today i came across the "usb device over current status detected!!" error upon starting up. I currently have my mouse and keyboard connected to the back usb ports, both are from my old pc so they're 2.0 based on the now 3.0 pc.

Things i've tried:
Unplugging only the mouse, unplugging the usb connectors from the optical drive and ssd drive, plugging the keyboard on the front usb port, unplugging usb 1112, 1314 and 3_34. It can't be the pins on the mobo or any other parts because they're new.

PC Parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zzcyJx
Front: https://goo.gl/zonBaj
Wiring (a mess): https://goo.gl/VA0cGW
Bottom mobo usbs: https://goo.gl/LVgIP0
Psu: https://goo.gl/rpLtMM
Back usb ports: https://goo.gl/l5nGwP

Please help.

Update: My mobo's Q-Code LED reads 55 as the error code which says "Memory not installed" in the manual even though i do have the memory installed in the mobo in the way the manual has suggested.

Update: Sometimes the mobo manages to detect more usb devices even though i've only connected 1 keyboard and mouse, when they're not connected it detects about 4.

Update: Found 2 jumper pins on my mobo box, i put the long one on the mobo but there's an extra smaller one which i don't know where to plug in.

Update: Ok when i wired my pc together i followed the Phanteks LED Installation video and plugged it on the back like it showed in the video, however there's a wire on both ends of the strip so i plugged the other end on the mobo and basically my cable connecting to the front power button and usb ports melted, however i patched it up with insulating tape since the wires were all still attached, the power button works, the led lights work and so does the front usb ports when i connect it to my keyboard so it couldn't have been the fried cables could it?

It sounds like your Mobo has been damaged and that's what's causing your issues.

Otherwise you can try uninstalling the drivers for your extras (mouse, keyboard etc) and reinstalling them.

There is no uninstalling since i can't even enter BIOS, unplugging keyboard and mouse still detects the usb over charge, i've been trying to contact asus but apparently they only provide tech support via email (48 hour reply), some of their links for their tech support forum is broken and when i do fill out everything it doesn't redirect me to a page or a notification stating that my request has been sent.
I will try calling them tomorrow however it would have to be during lunch hour since i'm busy on the days and hours they're on service.
I've also been requesting replacement cables for my pc case that i manage to melt because the exposed wires may be the cause for the overcharge.
I'll update as i try to fix this issue, it mostly looks like the motherboard is faulty (bought it on friday the 13th, incredible).
