Hi guys,
I cant get my PC to post 🙁
When i press the power on button, the PC starts booting up, after about 10 sec it turns off.
If i try turning it on again, it starts, then a clicking sound occurs - turns off and starts a loop like this "turn on > click > turn off". The codes on the mobo are changing quite fast different, but the last three before turning off are 69, bd and 33.
When i press the CMOS button, it starts "normally" but after about 10 seconds turns off and the same again...
Everything like EPU, TPU etc. is disabled.
I tried to remove the RAM - same scenario
when i unplug the CPU or remove it - the pc stays turned on with code 00 and doesnt shut down.
When i connect an ATX-bridging plug - the PSU runs fine.
The "story":
I recently bought a used X99E-WS Mobo and a brandnew 5820k CPU.
Everything worked fine while i was running tri-fire 295X2 and 290X.
When i removed the 295X2 and installed the 290X everything worked fine.
I started a game via Steam which started lagging extremely and the whole PC was kinda blocking/freezing. Then i forced it to tun off, since then i cannot turn the pc on again.
I also upgraded the Graphics card (thought, maybe the GPU on the 290X is faulty...) with an 980Ti Poseidon, the card has indicator LEDs for power. Even those light up when turning on the pc.
The diag dram and diag cpu LEDs light up shortly when turning on, but turn off and the a few seconds later the pc turns off.
I dont know if its the Mobo or the CPU. At first i thought the PSU is faulty...
Do you guys have any ideas? I would appreciate some help on this before sending the Mobo or CPU to RMA.
Setup:
