So I have an Asus Xonar STX installed on my Sabertooth Z97, and I'm running Windows 10. I have my headphones plugged into it, and I am getting sound, however whenever I try to install a driver for it I am met with either "Asus Xonar STX does not exist" with the official Asus driver, or "Please plug in Essence STX" from the uni drivers, also device manager read "Multimedia Audio Controller" with a yellow alert triangle on it, and if I try to install drivers through device manager it tells me that i can't. I have verified that the card is properly inserted, since I am after all getting sound out of it, and my onboard audio is disabled. How do I install the drivers?

if your using the lower slots on the mb make sure in the bios the slots are on.
Version 8.1.8.1823
is the newest driver for the gpu.
may have to go in and click update on the device windows has seen or go in an click uninstall on the devide and then let asus installer run.

If the slot isnt on how come Im still getting sound out of the card? And the driver version you posted is one of the ones I attempted to install, and I tried to uninstall the audio control centre from device manager and I was still met with the same messages when installing the drivers.
