My Asus Rampage Formula's "on-board" pci-express 1X sound card started giving me problems - device will pick up the one minute, then disappear and wont be able to pick it up the other minute.
I have been thinking of replacing it for some time now. Since this issue started, I have decided to purchase a new sound card.
The two particular cards I am interested in are:
* Asus Xonar Xense
* Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD
I will mainly be using it for gaming on my rig. I know the Asus also comes in a variant that does include a Sennheiser PC 350 headset. This is the model I was looking at initially but decided to get second opinions first.
However, asside from included headset or NO headset and if price does not play a factor, in your opinion, which is the best sound card if directly compared - card only VS card only?
