I have downloaded the ASUS drivers for ethernet and it only gives me 100Mbps but if i use wi-fi i get 144.4Mbps
Surely my ethernet can go faster??

I have installed the I217-V LAN driver from the ASUS website but it makes no difference
I was thinking there might be something in the device manager that I could change, perhaps in the properties?
It just seems odd I get a faster connection with Wi-fi

I dont know if anyone is reading these but:

I looked on the EE website: http://help.ee.co.uk/system/selfservice.controller?CONFIGURATION=1016&PARTITION_ID=1&secureFlag=false&TIMEZONE_OFFSET=&CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&USERTYPE=1&ARTICLE_ID=540791

I changed the wireless to this dual channel 20/40 Mhz business

I have:
My ASUS double antenna giving 144.4 Mbps
My D-link N booster dongle giving me 130 Mbps
AND
Direct line from my Intel ethernet reading 100 Mbps

Which ones should i turn off?

I can change the settings of the Intel 217-V ethernet to 1 Gbps (full duplex) but then the LAN connection disappears

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP?

those rates are the rates theyre capable of,nd your mobo has the very latest wifi.your ethernet 100bs is the same standard as it has been for yrs.
theyre both a lot faster than your network.
i,d disable the wireless ones and leave the hardwire connected,
