ASUS Z-97A with GTX960

Here is my setup:
GTX960>HDMI>Receiver.
Then I send HDMI signal to Projector

I have Windows 8.1 64bit
I am also using 2 displays (Dell 2007 WFP)
When I do this, I can see the video and hear the audio, but only 2.0 stereo.

So I tried to use my Digital Audio Out from my Motherboard. When I do this with 2 Monitors connected, I can get full 5.1 audio out to my Receiver.

So, I reconnect my HDMI output to Receiver, then go to Control Panel and then NVIDIA Control Panel and Disable the HDMI Digital Audio (as I thought perhaps my receiver is just getting confused) between the HDMI audio and the Digital Audio. Then I make sure I am defaulting windows audio output to the Realtek Digital Output...and I get NO SOUND!

So I think I have options, but how to handle them is the question:
1) How can I connect HDMI for video output only to receiver, but then use my Digital Audio output from Z97-A? I even tried to set my receiver to HDMI Passthrough...and still get nothing)
2) How come I only get 2.0 and can not get full 5.1 sound when outputting my HDMI from GTX960 to my reciever?

Make sure drivers are up to date. The drivers and software with the drivers are crucial for it to work.
