I tried to upgrade my RAM on my PC this morning ( after I thought I confirmed compatibility). On boot up went straight to blue screen. Removed new RAM and reinstalled old RAM but blue screens continued. I never had blue screens on this PC until today. Opened up the UEFI BIOS Utility and found my memory voltage way out of range. Tried to Manual input voltage (1.2V-1.35V) but I can not get it to go below 2.0v. made sure latest BIOS was installed, even installed a older version which did not help, then updated to latest version once again. I've tried everything I can think of and still voltage remains high (2.4V)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What processor are you working with and what BIOS version are you for your motherboard? Got a link to both ram kits used? As for the slots, can you state which two slots were populated on the motherboard? Might want to also inspect the board for any bulging, smoking, burnt or even damaged power delivery component.
