Alright so im a new pc builder i have watched mutiple videos. Read mutiple user manuals. I can not seem to figure out why the error comes up on my uefi when i first start my cpu. Stating the cpu is not properly installed to cpu_fan header or disable low speeds.

So basicly i am trying to figure out why it says that. If i put the mini to 4 pin power to cpu header i get the error if i place the 4 pin at a random fan channel and place a case fan in header i do not get the error. Does this have something to do with the pantechs fan hub in the back. Need help any insight on how to fix the issue. I have read alot of forums stating to just disable monitoring in the uefi but i do not want to risk my cpu overheating because i didnt see temps or auto fan controller information. Hope this makes sense. Build consists of

2 gtx GeForce 98pti hybrid.
Asus z170-a mobo
Corsair h100 i gtx
6700k skylake.

What am i doing wrong has anyone foxed this issue without just disabling.

According to the manual, you should connect the pump to the CPU_FAN header while the fans should be connected to the splitters off the pump unit. Step number 5:
• Connect the pump power cable to the
CPU_FAN header on your motherboard.
• Connect the fans to the two connectors
coming o the pump.

It's best you leave the H100i off the Phanteks fan hub and have it run off the CPU fan header while the Fan hub can be powered off any other 4 pin header on your motherboard. Have you also made sure your BIOS is up to date?

Alright that could be one mistake already i did not update my bios, should i flash everything before updating it now? there is 4 fan headers i do have it connected to the main, only the case fans are attached to hub.
