computer specs are as followed.

i5 6600
h55 cooler
fury x 2x4gb ddr4 ram
cs750m psu
gtx 970.

I have just built this pc from scratch (second custom build) and I have connected all the cables to the mobo and gpu.

When i go to start up my pc everything sounds like it is booting up but I get no video signal.

I have removed the 970 and used the vga onboard graphics, still no signal.
I have tried putting the ram in 1 at a time, still no signal. DRAM LED light is solid red for 5-10 seconds then goes off competely.

I have tried an old 700w psu in my computer but still no signal.

I cannot test a new mobo or ram as I don't have any to test.

I have already tried the troubleshooting post which is found on most posts about similar issues, however nothing seem to be working.

Any suggestions?

I would try to disconnect all the hard drives in it and boot up with the bare mininum of devices. Also try to connect the computer's speakers on the front panel connector as it might give your beep warnings. If you don't hear anything, perhaps the mobo is bad.
