Hello everyone.
I've been looking for motherboards to fit with my planned i5 6600k and have narrowed my choices down to these two: (Intention is to buy from Amazon/Newegg, cheaper of the two shown)
GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (Newegg)
ASUS Z170-A (Amazon)
At the time of this post the ASUS motherboard is $145 and the GIGABYTE is $180.
I'm trying to figure out if I should spring for the GIGABYTE over the ASUS. I'm not sure what's major in difference past the I/O ports (I'm especially confused around the internal connector importance), and if spending the extra money for features is worth it.
I looked up a comparison on both for reference here.
If you believe there is a better deal for a 1151 socket motherboard under $200 I'd be happy to consider it. I can also answer any questions regarding information I missed. Thank you for looking at my post.
