[SOLVED] Asus Z170-E Motherboard TPM 2.0

Hi,

I have an Asus Z170-E, with Intel i5-6500 CPU @ 3.2GHz. It has a TPM Header.
So my question is, Do I need to buy a module, or should I just wait for a BIOS update from Asus?
Please Help!!

A TPM Module would not be worth it if it's for Windows 11. If you want to enable Firmware TPM, find Intel Platform Trust Technology in the bios.

I checked everywhere in the bios, i didn't see anything about PTT. 😕

Intel's ark may describe if this particular CPU comes with onboard TPM.

your motherboard product support page should also offer some product description that could tell you if it's even available on this chipset.
