ASUS Z170-P onboard GPU outputs

Solution
Yes, it is possible. I wouldn't try to push high end gaming out of it, but if you are looking to do a dual display setup for basic functions like web surfing, Netflix, ect then you should be fine.

What onboard graphics are you using? It looks like that board uses an Intel cpu. What model CPU is it?

Many thanks for this, that's exactly what I plan to do; Netflix etc. on the TV and basic stuff on the monitor. I don't game. The onboard graphics is whatever in on an Asus Z170-P board. The CPU will be an i7-6700 so no problems there. This will save me getting a cheap graphics card!
