So as per my other thread, I bricked my MSI MOBO. I just purchased the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming board, and set it up. Now when I first powered it on, it got into BIOS fine. Video output was working off my GEFORCE GTX 750, I could see my harddrive in boot devices. Everything looked good. Exited BIOS, and it just restated....back to BIOS. Repeated this twice. Figured I do some trouble shooting. I had 4 sticks of my G Skill Ripjaw 4Gx2 2133 in. Began taking them out and doing the RAM shuffle. Still nothing. Tried removing the GPU and plugging into MOBOS display ports. Nothing. Unplugged hard rive and CD drive. Nothing.
I'm noticing the LED light on boot stops on DRAM. Not sure what's going on now. What's strange is the QVL for these RAM sticks show its compatible with this board specifically. But now I'm seeing the manual that came with the board is not showing these specific G Skill Ripjaw 2133 4Gx2 on the boards QVL.
I'm lost. I now have two dead/useless boards on my hands.
Anyone know what could be going on?
