System Config

Asus z170 pro gaming
i5 6500
Coolermaster 550w psu
Zotac nvidia gtx 950
HyperX Fury 16gb x 2
Samsung Evo SSD

If connected with iball 250w smps desktop runs stable with sdd and ram sticks

When replaced with corsair vs550w psu it will restart randomly, replaced psu with a new cooler master 550w. Still the issue persists.

Tried turning off Asus anti surge feature in bios.
Removed all other components.
Removed the mobo from the cabinet

Coolermaster is the brand of the PSU while 550W is the wattage. What series is it from? How old is the unit? The Corsair VS isn't a reliable unit neither is the iBall unit you spoke, similar story with the Coolermaster unit.

Tried turning off Asus anti surge feature in bios.
That;s not a good idea and by that I assume you're seeing the error during BIOS splash? If so, you should make sure your house's electrical wiring is proper, i.e you have proper grounding in your house with a 3 prong power cable.

The unit is 4 years old. Had issues initially like desktop wont boot immediately after a shutdown. Went to the store, couldn’t find the actual reason so they send everything for warranty claim, said it may be due to the inverter system and pc ups.
Since then removed the pc UPS(connected to wall socket with home inverter) and issue never occured again, the system was working for sometime.

Coolmaster model is mwe white 550w 230v

System works fine with the iball 250w smps with ssd and ram.

Tried the coolermaster with a APC ups, still it restarts
