My PC recently overheated and when I was turning back on I realized that one fan was weak and one had died. I replaced them, and computer immediately goes to the overheat menu, where it shows a temperature of nearly 90. As said it's a Asus Z170 with the I7 and I also have installed a graphics card, which has been part of the setup for about 2 years before there was any problems. Any ideas?

Solution
Might want to re-apply thermal paste depending on how long its been since applied, if temps are going high that fast you'll want to make sure you have a good thermal seal since the fans shouldn't be the issue since you replaced them

Thanks. My brother had some thermal paste on hand and it worked great. I appreciate the advice. Do you know why the loading seems a little inconsistent afterwards? Normal internet use hasn't changed, but even a low end game was having issues with choppiness and longer load times.
