I just moved from California to Washington. I brought my PC in my car, secured. Now that I’m settled in I have not been able to get my PC up and running. I’ve thoroughly gone through this checklist. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
Bread boarded, completely rebuilt, and tried everything I know to get it up and running. Nada. My monitor just keeps going into power saving mode. I know the PC isn’t posting either since it turns off immediately when I press it. All LEDs check out fine so no issues with RAM or VGA. BOOT LED stays on but I’ve read that that’s normal.
Build

CPU: i6700
GPU: GTX 980ti

Well but it sounds like it's booting, it's just the display isn't coming on for you to see it.
So either a gpu issue or the cable or the monitor. Or could be something else, but with all the led lights checking out I'd suspect monitor first, possibly a bios issue next. In which case I'd reset cmos battery but I'm assuming you already did that if you rebuilt the system completely. The gpu fans are spinning as well?

So wait, when you press power button, it turns on, fans start spinning? How long until it turns off? No display this whole time, right?
LEDs on the mobo are ok for cpu, ram and vga? Cpu especially since that's what gets knocked around most but if you've completely rebuilt it that's less of an issue.
You can't get far enough into startup to even get into boot. Right?

Everything seems to be running including all the fans. The computer doesn’t turn off on its own unless I turn it off. I have not gotten anything to display including the BIOS. And yes all LEDs check out for CPU, RAM, and VGA

I’m waiting on a monitor to arrive tomorrow to see if it was a monitor issue. I seem to run into this a lot when I clean this computer and reassemble it. Same monitor. I’ll check the graphics card but I don’t think it’s going to be the problem since the integrated graphics on the mobo didn’t work either. I was playing around with the display ports and with a dvi cable I was able to inconsistently get to my actual desktop but was unable to change the resolution, it would black out the monitor. It would also inconsistently boot and now that I rebuilt it it won’t boot at all now
