Asus Z170I mITX. HyperX Cloud II Logo Always on!?

For some reason the logo on my Cloud II is constantly on, even if the computer is powered down or in sleep mode. I have disabled the asus USB sleep charge thingy, but it still doesnt turn off. It it beyond annoying when trying to go to sleep... Please help me.

I contacted asus support and this is what I got in reply:

"Thank you for contacting ASUS Technical Support.

I understand that your motherboard USB ports stay powered after shutdown.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I will be more than happy to help you.

In this case, I request you to follow the troubleshooting given below and let us know the result so that I will be able to proceed further.

1. Please enable EUP or ERP on your UEFI BIOS settings.

2. If the issue still persists, please go to Device manager -> USB->Power management,and select "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"."

I tried using their suggestions, but again the LED was still on. I have all of the passive charging options off in the bios and the power management options were already checked. I have no idea what is going on!
