Asus Z170I PRO GAMING mini ITX and case fan PROBLEM

hey guys,

so im building a pc but the thing is the case that i am planning to buy comes with 3 fans and the motherboard i have taken only has slot for 2. so what should i do?

should i use a splliter to connect two fan to the motherboard?

The best course of action would be to buy a splitter like this and have all your fans connected off of it and in turn connected to the CPU_FAN header so that all the fans ramp up when the CPU requires additional cooling.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the case you are considering, nzxt manta, comes with a built in fan control panel on which you can hook up to 8 fans.. So, as far as I understand, you do not need a splitter. Click the following and scroll down.
