I bought everything for my new rig and didn't notice the asterisk near the bottom of the product page. It says that the board is compatible with 6th and 7th gen intel, but for 7th gen BIOS update and Drivers are needed.

Now i can't even boot to BIOS, so my question is basically is there anyway to flash the BIOS without even being able to pass POST? Or should i just get a new board?

I went with what he said was thinking Z170 board

I just knew that board didn't support flash without a CPU.

My bad I assumed it was Z170.

Sorry missed the Z270 in your list.

I figured that might be the case. Rough that i wasn't able to figure that out until after I got everything together. If I may trouble you further then, what boards would be ready out of the box for 7th gen? I thought I did plenty of research before committing but looks like i goofed.

I would like to believe that but i have changed just about every part of my rig with hardware I know for certain works at this point besides my CPU.

I'm 100% correct on this so you have already marked the wrong answer.
These are the BIOS updates for that board the origenal version is 604 and it supports all the gen 7 processors.

Here is a link to the CPU support page.

If you have swaped every part but the board and processor then you got a DOA board from Asus.
I would count on the board being bad before the processor.

I have swapped the board as well. I RMA'd one and got an identical one a few days ago. Same issue within both boards.
