ASUS z270-A was working now no VGA LED, now solid DRAM LED

CPU: i5 7400
MOBO: ASUS z270-A
PSU: EVGA 550 G2
RAM: Geil Evo Spear 16GB

Everything else disconnected.

Built this for a friend. It was working for a year and now won't post (black screen). The CPU LED (red) and DRAM LED (yellow) would each switch on then off, but the VGA LED (white) wouldn't turn on.

I tried reseting CMOS and removing CMOS battery, but now it's just showing solid DRAM LED.

What is going on?

Try testing different RAM, if you have not.
