Hi,

I have ASUS Z270 TUF Mark 1 motherboard. Because I'm currently struggling with small hardware problem, I want to try if maybe I will be able to solve it by updating my BIOS (currently I'm on ancient version).

I know how to go through upgrade process, however, I want to keep the possibility to go back to my current BIOS version. To be able to roll back, I need a binary with my current BIOS version. And that's where my problem begins. I'm using so old version (namely the version 0505) that it is not available to download from Asus website: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/TUF-Z270-MARK-1/HelpDesk_Download/. The oldest one is the 0701, while I need 0505.

So, I have a question: is it possible to dump my current BIOS image from my motherboard before updating to newer version? I tried to Google that, but I only found how to backup current BIOS settings, which is not what I need - I want to backup the entire binary of my current BIOS.

I would be grateful if anyone can help :)
