Asus Z270A with Gskill TridentZ 3000Mhz- no POST

Had two sticks of 8Gb RAM from Gskill F4-3000C16D-16GTZR
running on my Asus Z270-A prime motherboard with i7-7700k,for over six months. Recently the system refused to POST while the on-board DRAM led lights up. I had a motherboard replacement, but the issue still persists. Asus technical support said that the above RAM part number is not in their QVL list, so I should get a memory from their QVL list . Should I get another set of RAM sticks?

Did you test one module at a time to see if the system can boot with one?

The RAM is compatible, but right now it sounds like something may be bad if nothing is able to boot up.

Can you borrow some other DDR4 RAM to test?
