I have an Asus z270e board with an i5-7600K LGA. I have not purchased a video card yet (only thing missing) for it but I wanted to get everything else installed and waiting using the CPU’s built-on. When power is applied the board lights up and the power led glows. When I hit the power button the CPU fan starts up, etc. but nothing appears on the screen. The error LED’s on the board do not light or blink at all. I removed all connections and removed the ram completely to see if I could get an error DRAM LED to light but it did not blink or light.. none of the Error LEDs do. I have no internal PC speaker hooked up.
Does that sound like bent pins? Should I expect to see the CPU light blink and stay on if the CPU had an issue? Thought I would ask before I remove it or maybe someone has had a similar issue and traced it to the Bios? Or maybe a video card is absolutely required?
