The Z390-A or Maximus XI Hero would be the two boards I'd MOST recommend, but ANY of the ASUS Z390 ROG boards would be good choices such as the Z390-E as well. I'd avoid the lower tiered boards unless your budget dictates that you choose one of them. Pretty much any of them are ok so long as you avoid the two lowest priced models from any chipset by any particular brand.
If your motherboard has the latest bios revision then it will support it. If it has an older bios version, it will not. Some of these boards have been found to work "well enough" even without the latest bios version to at least GET into the bios and update to a version that fully supports the 9th gen CPUs, but I've also seen some of them that simply failed to POST at all without the latest bios installed.

I would not take the chance unless you have, or have access to, an 8th Gen processor in order to update the bios if it doesn't work out of the box OR unless you can verify that the board you get will already have the latest bios version installed.
